Love Island’s Summer Botwe slams ex Josh as a “liar” after he joked he “found her in bed” with Towie’s Roman Hackett

LOVE Island star Summer Botwe has hit out at her ex Josh Le Grove after he joked he found her in bed with TOWIE hunk Roman Hackett.

Taking to her instagram stories, Summer set the record straight and revealed Josh has 'lied' about her hooking up with the ITVBe star.

"I do just want to say that the joke that Josh made about finding me and Roman in bed together is a lie, it's not true," Summer, 22, insisted.

"Me and Roman literally just met two weeks ago at We Are Festival and are literally just friends and always have been," she continued.

Summer then hinted at the abuse she has been getting since the rumours started.

"I am not the type of girl who moves that way, I am not loose, I am not being passed around the gang, all of these things that I have been getting, that is just not true and not in my nature and not in my character.

"I have self respect for myself and I wouldn't behave like that at all."

Summer also revealed some fans have been claiming the situation is linked to her feud with fellow Casa Amor girl Coco Lodge, which she denied.

Summer added: "I also want to bring up the fact that people are also trying to tie this to the whole situation between me and Coco. What happened between me and Coco, I am not going to get into it.

"Everything that I said to her and about her at the reunion I stand by because anything that I said was facts. If you were there you would know and can vouch for me on that, but I am not going to get into that because that's completely irrelevant and I have already said that's boring and I am done talking about her.

"What happened with Coco is completely different to this situation because none of this situation is actually true. It was all a joke that has been taken out of context completely.

"I just want you guys to know that because a lot of you are completely twisting this and calling me a whore, calling me a slag. I am literally friends with the both of them, I have never freed it up to either of them. I respect myself highly, so yeah, that is literally that last I am going to say on the situation."

Summer's fellow Islander and former love interest Josh, 22, said that he found Roman and Summer "in bed together" - but admitted that there was no bad blood.

Model Josh has given his pals his blessing and said Summer and Roman, 19, make a good couple.

Reality star Roman, 19, admitted that he and Casa Amor girl Summer had grown close since her exit from the ITV2 dating show and were spotted looking cost at WE ARE FSTVL last week.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun about his new romance, Roman revealed he'd ended things with Liberty Poole - who he'd been dating - to pursue things with Summer

“Liberty was the last girl that I was with. But now there's someone else, it's a Love Island star."

Roman then called pal Josh Le Grove over and asked if it was alright for him to reveal her name to The Sun.

When asked who Roman's mystery lady was, Josh said: “Summer [Botwe]....she left me, I found these two in bed.

"But I’ll let him off as he’s my boy."
