MASTERCHEF fans have branded the show a fix after John Torode and Gregg Wallace helped Chris Eubank in a challenge.

The hosts were seen giving the boxer guidance despite the fact he was supposed to be recreating a pasta dish himself, while the other contestants were left to figure it out on their own.

Those watching at home questioned if they were in fact scared of him as he remained in the competition despite lacking cooking skills.

One person wrote: “Do they want Chris Eubank to win or are they just really scared of them because they have practically told him how to make this pesto pasta #celebritymasterchef.”

A second commented: “Funnily enough, they’re not helping Cliff but told Chris Eubank what to do. Fix! #celebritymasterchef.”

While a third tweeted: “Bloody hell torrode and Wallace might as well do this challenge for Eubank #celebritymasterchef.”

And another added: “Greg and John too scared to tell Chris Eubank he can’t cook 😂😂 #celebritymasterchef.”

Chris was up against musician Gareth Malone, Call the Midwife's Cliff Parisi and All Saints singer Melanie Blatt in the competition.

He ended up finally getting the boot this evening  - missing out on a place in the quarter finals.

After his stint in the BBC show, Chris said: “I was most concerned about not severing one of my fingers when cutting vegetables.

“Losing the finger wouldn’t bother me too much. What would bother me is how frightening it would be to the audience.”
