Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd blasted for ‘ruining soap illusion’ with backstage picture
CORRIE actor Jack P Shepherd has been slammed for "ruining the soap illusion" following an Instagram post.
The ITV soap star, 34, recently posted an on-set snap to his account, showing off what goes on behind the scenes.
Jack has played David Platt on the show since 2000, joining the cast aged 12.
Most of his time on the soap has been spent with his family at the famous street's number eight.
First, with mum Gail and sister Sarah, and now with his own family; wife Shona, daughter Lily and son Max.
Jack has now taken to his social platforms to show fans another angle of the famous terraced house.

Sharing to his 389K fans, Jack posed on the staircase of No8, smiling smugly at the camera.
In the low-down angle, the actual TV set is visible, and fans can see that it's not an actual two-story house, but just a set of stairs which lead to nowhere.
He captioned the snap: "Misspent youth was had on thus staircase."
It didn't take long for the comments to roll in, with on-screen son Max - played by Paddy Bever - writing first: "Fuming. just found out there’s no upstairs."

The disappointed comments continued, with one sharing: "This is up there with the disappointment I felt when I found out the washing machines in the laundrette in Eastenders aren’t real, and someone actually stands behind the wall manually turning them round."
Another claimed: "Now you've spoilt the illusion!"
