ACTOR Clarke Peters is among the famous faces who will attempt to win over Gregg Wallace and John Torode in the kitchen with his cooking skills.
He will be swapping scripts for recipe books in hopes to be crowned the next Celebrity MasterChef 2022 winner.
Who is Clarke Peters?
Clarke Peters is best known for his TV and film career.
He first discovered his love for acting when he was just 12 when he appeared in a school production of My Fair Lady.
The star moved to London in 1973 from New Jersey where he changed his name from Peter Clarke to Clarke Peters.
He found there were already multiple people with his name so decided to swap it around.
Before having an extensive theatre career, he found himself working in a band and as a backup singer.
In 2017, he was part of the cast that won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.

What TV shows and films has he been in?
Clarke is known for playing Detective Lester Freamon in the HBO series The Wire.
He's also appeared in the HBO mini-series The Corner.
Back in 2008, the actor appeared in two episodes of the US time-travel/detective TV series Life On Mars as NYPD Captain Fletcher Bellow.
In the UK, Clarke acted in Holby City, as Derek Newman who is the father of nurse Donna Jackson.

Following his first marriage, he had a relationship with Joanna Jacobs where they had two sons, Joe Jacobs who is an actor and Guppy, who died of a kidney tumour in 1992, at the age of four.
