EastEnders fans all have the same complaint about ‘laughable’ kidnapping scenes
THE Mitchells were ready for revenge over Ben's rape in last night's trip to Albert Square.
However, EastEnders viewers deemed their dramatic scenes of Lewis Butler's kidnap laughable.
Desperate to earn back Phil's trust, Sam Mitchell has put a plan into action to try and find the former Prince Albert manager.
Lewis Butler was revealed to have raped Ben (portrayed by Max Bowden) after the Walford resident almost succumbed to an overdose and was left for dead in the streets by Suki Panesar.
On Tuesday, Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) was shocked when his younger sister Sam (Kim Medcalf) revealed she had kidnapped Lewis at gunpoint, who was shown tied up in the boot of her car.
Sam then claimed it was time for them to avenge Ben and drove a surprisingly reluctant Phil to a warehouse.

The tough man showed unexpected growth and told Sam this wasn't what Ben would want but before they could leave, Lewis had managed to escape with Sam's gun.
However, BBC One viewers were distracted from all the drama as they swarmed over to Twitter in hysterics over the scenes.
Although the scenes didn't keep them at their seats, they did manage to make them laugh as fans were reminded of a slapstick comedy show.
"Can we have a Phil and Sam comedy spin off? I'd watch it!", one of them quipped as another echoed: "Lewis' kidnap shouldn't be this funny!"
A third added: "Only Sam would leave the gun on the car roof. This is like one of those slapstick comedy shows."
Sam and Phil eventually managed to catch up with Lewis and after a struggle, the baddie was able to overpower him and take the gun back.
But Ben soon appeared as Phil was getting ready to shoot Lewis and, taking the gun, he announced: "if anyone is shooting Lewis, it's going to be me."
This only made things funnier for EastEnders viewers as the episode ended with Ben's line.
