Lauren Goodger asks Jake McLean to look after her daughter Lorena in heaven as she pays heart-breaking tribute

LAUREN Goodger has paid tribute to her ex boyfriend Jake McLean following his funeral today.

The 35-year-old, who was amongst the mourners this afternoon, asked him to care for her baby daughter in heaven in the heart-breaking message.

Sharing a series of videos and pictures of them together, Lauren wrote: “R.i.p Jake you always be apart of me … we shared something for 5 years solid like no other ❤️.

"Look after Lorena for me my angel baby 👼.”

Lauren was in a relationship with Jake for nearly five years until 2020.

Jake, 33, was killed last month when the car he was driving plunged 70ft off of a cliff in Bodrum, Turkey.

The funeral comes just days after Lauren laid her daughter Lorena to rest.

Lorena was born with two knots in her umbilical cord, tied around her neck. 

Ten doctors fought in vain to save 9lb daughter Lorena, who had a strong heartbeat before contractions began.

The tot tragically passed away shortly after her birth.

Lauren’s current boyfriend Charles Drury, 25, is said to have assaulted her just hours after a ­private family burial for Lorena.

Charles, who denies the attack in Upminster, Essex, was held all day by police in East London before being released on bail at 3am on Friday.

Charles, who has a year-old daughter, Larose, with Lauren, said: “There’s a completely different side to stuff.”

Lauren’s black eye was visible as she attended the funeral today.

Other mourners included former Towie co-stars James Argent and Liam ‘Gatsby’ Blackwell attended the Essex service.

Mourners at the funeral dressed in a mix of black and white clothing.

The hearse was decorated with floral tributes to Jake, including one of a Lamborghini badge.
