The Chase’s Mark Labbett slams head on desk as he explodes with frustration after major mistake
THE CHASE fans compared Mark Labbett to the Hulk as he lost his temper during the final chase in Monday's episode.
Mark, also known as The Beast, almost did a clean sweep until he answered a question incorrectly, leading him to scream in frustration.
Contestants Russell, Jules and Piers went into the final chase with £15,000 in their shared jackpot.
After answering 17 correct answers in a row, Mark's 18 question was answered incorrectly which led to an angry outburst.
Bradley asked: "Ted Cruz is a republican senator for which American state?" to which he wrongly answers: "Indiana."
Mark screamed: "Oh no!" while he slammed his fists and head on the desk.
Bradley said: "Phwoar, nearly a clean sweep - what about that?"
Taking to Twitter, viewers commented on The Beast's tantrum.
One said: "AAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH - Calm down Mark ffs! ... #TheChase" alongside a GIF of the Hulk screaming.
Another wrote: "Bet Mark has a temper #thechase"
A third penned: "Bit over the top there Mark lol #TheChase."
The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
