Andi Peters slammed as ‘rude’ by This Morning fans after interview with TikTok star

THIS Morning fans hit out at guest presenter Andi Peters after his interview with TikTok star Kyle Thomas.

Kyle, 17, is one of the highest-earning teenage content creators on the platform - and Andi, 52, and Rochelle Humes were very interested in his wealth.

During the chat on Monday's episode of This Morning, Andi asked: "I need to just get a gage, I don't want you to tell me your bank balance but could you buy a new toaster?

"Could you buy a new car? Could you buy a house wherever you wanted to?"

Kyle confirmed he could buy a new car or house and "live comfortably" after his TikTok earnings.

But Andi then enquired about the price of the teen's jacket - sending many viewers flocking to Twitter to complain.

One wrote: "Oh my christ, Andi Peters asking him how much he paid for his jacket. He’s unbearably rude."

Another said: "Stop asking him how much His stuff costs it's rude!"

And a third added: "It’s really rude to ask him how much his clothes cost and how much he earns."

Andi is currently one of a rotation of guest hosts on the ITV show as main presenters Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield, Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary take their summer breaks.

And Andi could find himself on the show more frequently as Alison has been named as one of the top candidates to front the Big Brother relaunch on ITV.

A source told the Mirror: "Execs think she’s exactly what the show needs.

"She’s energetic, fun, relatable and she was on the show, so she knows it inside out.”

And it seems like she's more than happy to take on the role.

When asked if she'd like to on The Lateish Show with Mo Gilligan: “I think so. They need to change it up a bit. We’ve got to put it out there to the universe. Let’s make it happen.”
