Jacques snubs official Love Island reunion party tonight to avoid Paige
LOVE Island star Jacques will not be attending the official Love Island reunion party this evening because he can’t face a run in with Paige.
The rugby player, 23, sensationally quit the villa after struggling with his mental health following Casa Amor, which rocked his romance with the Welsh paramedic.
In heart-breaking scenes, Jacques broke down in tears as he told Paige he would wait for her, but insisted he was unable to stay.
Just a day later Paige recoupled with Adam Collard, who entered as a bombshell, and she remained with him for the rest of the series.
Since being back in the UK Paige and Jacques are yet to catch up about what happened and it isn’t going to happen tonight.
A source said: “Everybody is getting together for a huge party tonight in London.

“ITV has put everyone up in a hotel so there’s no need for anyone to miss out.
“Unfortunately Jacques has decided he’s just not ready to see Paige quite yet and especially not with Adam.
“He’s made the decision to wait for a more suitable moment to talk to her again after everything he’s been through.”
After getting dumped from the villa, Paige addressed Jacques' exit, saying: “Honestly, I had a feeling that he was going to leave. It was really hard hearing him say it out loud, but I knew there was nothing I could say to make him want to change his mind.

“I knew that wouldn’t be right. I fully supported his decision, absolutely I could never have sat there and asked him to stay.”
She added: “It did cross my mind a little bit to leave with him, but things hadn’t been 100% all the way through, and the fact that they weren’t was what made me think.
“The fact that I stayed and I gave 100% to the experience and found something new and something more suited towards me just goes to show that everything happens for a reason.”
Meanwhile Adam has insisted everything is going well with Paige after fans noticed they have been apart since being back in the UK.
He said they were due to reunite today and are expected to attend the bash together.
Remi has also decided not to attend tonight’s party after being left humiliated on Aftersun by Laura Whitmore.
