ACTORS Kym Marsh and Will Mellor have been unveiled as the first Strictly Come Dancing stars of 2022.
Cheeky chappy Will, who's best known for his roles in Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps and Coronation Street, can't wait to don the show's famous sparkly outfits.
He said: "I'm honestly so chuffed to be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing this year!
"Not going to lie, it's totally out of my comfort zone and I know it will be a huge challenge but that's what life is all about.
"This is also my Mum's favourite show and she’s had a really tough few years so I’m doing this is for her as well. Bring it on!”
Meanwhile Kym is excited to throw herself into learning the different styles of dance.

And the Waterloo Road star has vowed to pass on her skills to husband Scott.
She said: “I’ve considered doing Strictly for years but the timings never worked out. I’m so delighted that this year they have!
"I’m a huge fan of the show and can’t believe I’m going to go from watching at home in my pyjamas to actually dancing in front of the judges in a glittery dress, it’s unreal!”
The official Strictly account welcomed both stars to the show, prompting fans to excitedly declare: "It's back."

Their introduction comes hot on the heels of a new look professional roster.
Italian stallion Vito Coppola, Latin dancer Michelle Tsiakkas, Carlos Gu and Lauren Oakley take the number of pros to 20.
Yesterday the Sun exclusively revealed ex-Corrie star Kym, 46, has signed for the show.
BBC sources are thrilled to have finally persuaded her to come on board.
One source said: “We have been keen to sign Kym for a while and approached her many times in the past but it has never worked out.
“When we approached her this year she was interested, which was very exciting for us.
“As well as her presenting work, she is filming for Waterloo Road at the end of the year, so she had to consider it carefully.
“But, thankfully, she has come back with a yes and everyone is thrilled she is going to be joining this year’s celebrities.
“It is a massive coup for us and Kym will be a stellar addition to the cast.”
Mum-of-four Kym rose to fame with pop group Hear’Say in 2001.
She went on to play Michelle Connor on the Corrie cobbles for 13 years.
