Other viewers criticised the little girl’s mother for not noticing she’d wandered outside.

Thankfully, the police officers found the little girl safe and sound in the care of her neighbours down the street.
After arriving on the scene, the cops deduced that the toddler, who was around two or three years old, had followed her mum outside while she was putting recycling out and she hadn’t noticed her daughter come outside.
The cops were about to reunite the little girl with the mother quickly. However, she didn’t seem overly concerned that her daughter had been outside by herself, so they went inside the flat to make sure she was safe.
After they left, the officers reported the incident to social services.
There have been four episodes of Night Coppers so far, and it has already received positive reviews from viewers.
One praised the show, saying: “I’ve enjoyed this series, yes, I know the police are just human beings like everybody else & they aren’t the enemy etc, but, I rate how this programme’s shown their humourous side & their more vulnerable side, as well…”
“What an amazingly honest brilliant series. Well done to the production team and the police,” another said.
