Love Island fans brand show ‘fix’ after beloved couple lose public vote
FURIOUS Love Island fans called the show rigged after Andrew and Tasha were named in fourth place.
They made it to the top four finalists after a rocky relationship that almost saw them not make it as a couple.
Host Laura Whitmore announced that model Tasha and realtor Andrew were voted in fourth place during Monday's finale.
But fans watching at home could not believe they didn't make it to the top two.
"I’ve never been more sure of a fix in my life," complained one fan on Twitter.
Another added: "FIX ITS A FIX THE VOTES ARE RIGGED."
And a third wrote: "If Luca and Gemma win its a fix, I'm sorry that's ridiculous Tasha and Andrew are 4th."
Andrew and Tasha landing in fourth place comes after they had viewers in tears over Andrew's sweet gesture.
Tasha revealed that Andrew removes her cochlear implant for her at night.
The dancer, who was born deaf, made the revelation during her ‘declaration of love’ speech during tonight’s Love Island final, which saw the couple finish in fourth place.
Andrew echoed her comments, telling her: “The exact moment I fell in love with you was when you told me about your superpower. You have inspired so many and I l will love you forever.”
Tasha has sensory loss which means that the small hairs in the cochlear (inner ear) were missing and damaged when she was born.
She wears a cochlear implant and is very open about her hearing, revealing that many call her "inspirational" because she likes to talk about her disability and raise awareness of her condition.
