Love Island fans spot secret clue that Gemma Owen’s mum sees a future for her and Luca – and it wasn’t shown on TV
LOVE Island fans have spotted a secret clue that Gemma Owen’s mum sees a future for her and Luca – and it wasn’t shown on TV.
It comes after Louise Bonsall – wife of former footballer Michael – appeared on the ITV2 reality show last night alongside Luca’s parents, Michael and Maria.
The trio were on the show as part of the famous Meet The Parents episode.
On last night’s show viewers watched as Louise told Gemma that her dad Michael was “really proud” of her..
She added of the wider family: “They’re all loving watching you, they’re missing you like mad.”
Meanwhile, Luca’s dad Michael added: “She puts you straight doesn’t she.”

Maria added of Gemma: “First night I said they fancy each other, I knew it.
“I love the values and morals she has.”
And it looks like the two families got on so well, that the mums headed out for dinner together afterwards.
Some fans have seen this as a good sign that Gem’s mum Louise has given Luca her seal of approval.
On Luca’s Instagram, which is being managed by his family while he is in the villa, a photo of Louise and Maria was posted.
Written on the glam snap was: “The lovely mothers of the love birds out for dinner.”
Meanwhile, fans will find out TONIGHT which couple has been crowned the 2022 winners of the ITV2 show.
But it has been claimed that 19-year-old Gemma was ready to “quit” before even making it to the final hurdle.
Lacey Edwards, who entered the villa for just a few days last week, insisted the dressage rider and Luca are “done” with the show now.
In a TikTok video Lacey said: “They’ve been in there so long and they’ve really found what they’re looking for, they could happily just move out together and go back home together now.

“They’re over doing the games and challenges. With Luca, it’s playing with his head he’s like ‘I just want my girl and I want to get out of here now’.”
