MONTHS after being raped by Lewis Butler, Ben Mitchell is still undergoing an intense struggle.
The EastEnders character appeared to overdose on drugs and Suki Panesar refused to help him, leaving him to face death.
Soap fans have been left livid as the ruthless businesswoman portrayed by Balvinder Sopal strikes again.
With the breakdown of his marriage and his rape still weighing heavy on his mind, Ben has turned to drugs in a bid to cope with hardship.
The troublemaker played by Max Bowden was seen tonight (Monday, August 1), discarding his daughter Lexi and a family dinner in her honour to attend drug-fuelled party with his old school friend James.
But when the pair kissed, Ben was reminded of his rapist and hallucinated that Lewis Butler was right in front of him.

Things only got worse for the Walford mechanic who left the party to call Lexi, apologising for his tardiness, while sitting on some steps.
However, as he stood back up to make his way to her, Ben threw up before dropping his phone.
In tragic scenes, Ben overdosed and fell in a pile of bin bags while trying to pick up his phone which was left ringing.
Meanwhile, Suki Panesar was reflecting on her most recent family drama which led to her children moving out of No.31 and leaving her all alone.

As viewers may remember, Ben Mitchell recently revealed his involvement in Jags' death.
Ben spotted Kheerat Panesar with Sharon Watts, whom the businessman was secretly dating.
Unable to contain his anger and believing Kheerat had betrayed his family - and more particularly his father Phil - Ben called off Jags' protection, which he desperately needed after getting on the wrong side of a prison gang.
However, Ben's confession also pushed Suki to admit she was the reason Jags was sent to prison in the first place and her children have been unable to forgive her ever since.
