It came as Charlie Stayt was replaced by Roger yesterday in a last minute shake-up ahead of his usual Saturday morning slot alongside Naga Munchetty.

Naga, 47, and Charlie, 60, usually host BBC Breakfast together from Thursday to Saturday, with alternative presenters rotating in for Sunday’s show.

Charlie had presented yesterday’s episode of BBC Breakfast, along with Naga, so many were surprised that he wasn’t on the red sofa this morning.
