BBC Breakfast pulled off air as host reveals ‘collapse’ in studio
BBC Breakfast descended into chaos on Sunday morning as the show was pulled off air.
The BBC programme shut down during a travel segment due to technical issues.
Roger Johnson and Sima Kotecha fronted the latest instalment of BBC Breakfast with Mike Bushell in Birmingham to give the latest Commonwealth Games coverage.
But they ran into trouble early on when a stand holding their equipment in place collapsed and computer screens came crashing down.
Roger revealed the incident happened and said studio crew scramble to fix the laptop stand as a pre-recorded travel segment aired instead.
He told fans on Twitter: "Running repairs to @BBCBreakfast computers … while you’re enjoying The Travel Show! Back online for 7am"

Someone else replied: "Bang!"
Sima shared the moment on Twitter too, writing: "Lovely to be back with @RogerJ_01.. it’s been a while.
