Rylan Clark gets standing ovation as he tells politician to ‘stop being a f***ing a***hole’ in live TV rant

RYLAN Clark was given a standing ovation for telling a politician to “stop being a f***ing a***hole” in a foul-mouth rant on live TV.

The popular TV presenter was a guest on Channel 4’s The Last Leg on Friday night alongside Labour MP Jess Phillips.

They were discussing the Tory Leadership race and Culture Secretary Nadine Dorries’ public attack on candidate Rishi Sunak, when Rylan said: “I have to be careful about what I say.”

Nadine – a supporter of Liz Truss – hit out at Rishi for wearing a £3,500 suit and Prada loafers while, she claimed, Liz opted for earrings from Claire’s Accessories.

Clearly annoyed by the discussion, Rylan ranted: “I just don’t think it matters, Jess.

“I don’t care what you’re wearing, just run the country right, look after the people of this country and stop being a f***ing a***hole.”

Stunned Jess said “alright” as she joined the TV studio in clapping Rylan’s outburst.

Host Adam Hills joked: “So glad you’re being careful about what you’re saying.”

Last night reported Rylan was no longer seeing his romantic interest Declan Doyle after the reality star was spotted getting close to Towie’s Junaid Ahmed.

The pair had been secretly dating since April of this year.

Rylan, 33, and Ex on the Beach favourite Declan, 32, were first spotted enjoying dinner together a few months ago, but kept their romance out of the spotlight.

Rylan hit back at claims they’d been in a relationship, insisting: “I’m not in a relationship, haven’t been for over a year and have no intention to. I’m looking after myself for a change and it’s staying that way.”

Rylan and ex husband Dan Neal separated in June 2021 after six years of marriage.
