Help! We Bought A Village viewers all say the same thing about most extreme property show yet
THOSE who tuned into Help! We Bought A Village were all saying the same thing about the colossal project.
Paul Mappley and Yip Ward, both 48, were living in a mobile home in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, when they decided to make a huge leap and purchase a home abroad.
The couple decided to buy hamlet La Busliere, in Normandy, France, and their journey is being documented by Channel 4.
Paul and Yip's new property includes six cottages, two barns, a two story workshop, open barn and paddock, as well as a stone well, cider press and communal bread oven.
The pair, who are both landscape gardeners, are planning to turn the historic hamlet into luxury holiday accommodation.
On Monday, as the first episode of the series aired, the pair posted to their Instagram account.

Alongside a picture of themselves, they wrote: "Today's The Daaayyyy!!!🎉🎉🎉
"The first episode of Help! We Bought A Village is out today on Channel 4 at 4pm.
"A new series about Europe’s abandoned villages and their intrepid British saviours."
It continued: "Today, two landscape gardeners from Kent explore their bargain new purchase: an abandoned settlement in Normandy about to collapse.
