Martin Clunes films emotional last Doc Martin scenes as beloved show ends after 18 years
MARTIN Clunes has filmed his emotional last Doc Martin scenes as the beloved show ends after 18 years.
The 60-year-old actor has played the title role in the ITV drama since 2004.
It was confirmed in 2020 that the 10th series of Doc Martin would be its last and now the cast and crew have wrapped filming on location in Cornwall.
The show has filmed outdoor scenes in Port Isaac for years, and after the final scene, it was time to say goodbye.
The cast posed for a photograph - with Martin sat front and centre - underneath a banner which read 'Goodbye and Good Luck'.
Holidaymaker Chris Haig witnessed the cast filming their scenes and told : "I think it was quite an emotional week for many long-time cast and crew members as well as for many fans who were allowed to get so close during the filming in the heart of the village of Port Isaac."
