This Morning fans insist Josie Gibson looks unrecognisable as she shows off a glam transformation

THIS Morning fans had to do a double take during Monday's show after Josie Gibson showed off her glam transformation.

Josie, 37, and Craig Doyle are one of the duos stepping in for main hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield who are on their summer break.

Clearly starting as she means to go on, the former Big Brother champ wowed today by styling her blonde hair into big bouncy curls and opting for a full face of glamorous make-up.

Josie turned up the wow factor in a low cut satin dress with puffed sleeves.

And fans couldn't believe it was her, rushing to Twitter to comment on her new look.

One said: "Wow Josie!!" Another asked: "Is that Josie??"

Someone else tweeted: "Just turned over and didn’t recognise Josie until she spoke, love Josie, don’t change too much."

And a fourth added: "Omg Josie looks amazing!!"

Speaking to The Sun ahead of stepping for Holly and Phil, Josie revealed she and Phil have become so close they've even developed a secret on-air code.

The down-to-earth star, who is part of a team including Ruth Langsford and Rochelle Humes, told us: “I’ll be honest, he had a lot of patience with me and gave me some real little pointers - even little things you wouldn’t even think of. 

“Phil said to me, ‘I would never want to interrupt you or talk over you so if you want to ask the next question, take a little breath and I’ll hear you.’

“And if he wants to ask the next question, he takes a little breath and I hear him. It’s very clever.
