COLEEN Nolan was branded “very rude” during a row with her Loose Women co-star Brenda Edwards today.
The panel were discussing if they dreaded small talk when Coleen insisted Brenda wasn’t shy – sparking a tense debate.
In the end, Kaye Adams was forced to step in to tell Coleen she was being rude after she branded Brenda ‘loud’ as the barney escalated.
Coleen started by rubbing Brenda up the wrong way, saying: “She could talk for all of us.”
Outraged, Brenda told her: “That’s not true, Coleen, I am just as shy as everyone else is.
“I don’t really do small talk, if I am used to someone then I open up as time goes on and I think you have all noticed that with myself.

“But what I do do if I am at an event, you know when I was doing the service for Jamal, there were lots who didn’t know each other and so what I did, I put little quotes and topics for people to talk about on the table to sort of break the ice.”
She added: “I only did that because I am quite nervous to speak to people. But I am shy, stop telling people I’m not.”
Coleen insisted: “It’s because I never think of you as shy, genuinely. When we go out together you are always like ‘hi’ …”
Kaye interjected, telling Coleen: “People don’t look at you and think you are shy.”

Coleen replied: “No, I think it’s just because she is loud.”
The comment didn’t go down well with Brenda, who hit back: “Very rude.”
Trying to calm down the situation, Kaye told Coleen: “That was a bit rude, I have to say.”
Coleen insisted that Brenda was loud but then asked Kaye to change the subject.
