Countdown fans in ‘stitches’ as Rachel Riley left grimacing by cheeky word
COUNTDOWN'S Rachel Riley was left red-faced when a rude word was spelled out on the show.
During today's episode, the Countdown presenter was left looking awkward as she stood next to the word 'vaginas’ on the Channel 4 game show.

The show is known for having some rather cheeky words pop up from time to time, putting Rachel in quite the tricky situation.
As round one of the game kicked off, contestants, Thomas and Mike introduced themselves.
After picking their letters a word began forming- and presenter Rachel couldn't help but grin at the camera - giving the viewers a clue that she knew what the word was.
When the time was up, Colin asked Thomas what his chosen word was, and he replied: “vagina."

He then asked contestant number two, Mike, who one-upped him by responding: “vaginas”.
Admitting defear, Colin joked: “Vaginas, well, there you go, putting an s on the end, what a difference that makes.
"Always pluralise. Pluralise everything, and there you go.”
The audience members in the background could be heard chuckling along too, as Rachel raised an eyebrow.
Viewers of Countdown were left in stitches taking to Twitter to share how they felt.
One user said: "I get the impression Rachel Riley has found a word already."
Another joked: "Countdown casually exposing my search history."
Many viewers of the show posted pictures of the Countdown presenter standing next to the words 'vaginas UK' in bold writing, along with a series of laughing emojis.
One user compiled a few other examples of inappropriate words seen on the show, with images of Rachel standing next to rude words like 'scrotum' and 'p***'
Fans seemed to love Rachel's facial expressions though, with one saying: "Yep, Rachel's expressions are the best."
Another agreed: "That little grin and look of Rachel's that says 'Look what I did!' makes it so great!"
