EastEnders’ James Farrar appeared in THREE other soaps before BBC fame – with a mind-boggling twist
FORMER model James Farrar became a Walford regular in 2021.
But before EastEnders, where he also appeared in a secret role, the Zack Hudson actor tried his luck in other iconic shows.
James recently revealed he gave up his modelling career for a heart-breaking reason and committed to acting.
This led him to become a familiar face on screens as he rekindled with the BBC One soap.
Fans of the long-running drama may not know the program was the first to give him a chance as an actor.
In November, 2011, James took his first ever steps in Albert Square as Brendan.

While the stint was brief, it inspired the 34-year-old to take on more roles on TV and, more particularly, in British soap operas.
James starred in a total of three soaps before the role of Zack Hudson was suggested to him.
Hollyoaks fans perhaps know him better as Liam Gilmore, Jen's easy-going and protective brother - which happened to be a role he did not have to audition for and took on in 2012.
Liam moved away from Chester in 2013 to work in South England, after Attwell's Health Club & Spa closed down.

Following his exit from Chester, James made his way to the fictional Midlands town of Letherbridge as he appeared in Doctors.
He played the part of Steven Cropper in the medical drama's 2016 episode "Sparks."
His TV credits also include appearances in the film By Any Means (2013), Silent Witness (2015) and Call The Midwife (2017).
While his ill mother may have convinced him to stick around in Albert Square, James admitted fatherhood also stopped him from travelling around the world as a model.

He had been balancing both of his career before eventually making a living as an actor.
"I work Saturdays on EastEnders, but it’s nice to know now where I’m going to be day to day", he told TV Mag.
"Prior to this job I was a model and flying to Milan, then to New York, then to Paris."
"I think it was a blessing that I took the job on EastEnders because Summer, my little baby, wouldn’t have arrived if I was still doing the silly hours and travelling I was doing with modelling."
Zack Hudson recently got into trouble with Nancy Carter (and her grandmother Shirley) after cheating on her with Sam Mitchell.
