Love Island 2022 Instagram rich list revealed as surprising pair win biggest rise in followers – & they’re NOT a couple
LOVE Island is infamous for turning relatively unknown wannabes into full blown celebrities overnight.
Those who have reaped huge benefits from being on the ITV2 reality show include Molly-Mae Hague, Zara McDermott, Olivia Bowen and Wes Nelson.
As the current season hits the six-week mark, the original contestants have all seen a boom in their social media followers - boosting their chances of becoming influencers and raking in cash via sponsored posts.
But of the current crop, who stands to make the most? Here we reveal the Instagram rich list as it stands*.
Gemma Owen
Gemma is currently on course to be the biggest money maker of the five girls who went in on week one, commanding up to £3,593 a post when her time on the show is up.

Her follower count has steadily grown to nearly 860k in week six.
This means she can now bank up to £3,593 per post - and will no doubt be a welcome boost for advertising her beachwear brand.
This influencer-in-the-making is well on her way to being this year's first contestant to hit a million followers.

The Welsh beauty, 24, has seen the highest increase in Instagram followers since the first episode.
She now boasts around 748k followers, having started out with 13,778.
With all attention on her getting close to Adam after Jacques' shocking departure from the villa, her follower count is only likely to increase.
Indiyah Polack
Hotel waitress Indiyah, 22, has not had the smoothest of rides with her love interest Dami, but it looks like she will be just fine on the outside.
She could now earn over £1,500 each time she posts.
Indiyah entered the villa with over 30k followers and now has nearly 366k.
But how will reuniting with Dami affect her popularity?
Tasha Ghouri
Tasha, 23, may now be "tunnel vision" on Andrew (again), but unlike her decision-making in the villa, her marketability is a dead cert.
She went in as the second most followed girl at 32k and has now got 338k.
Tasha stands to rake in £1,420 per partnership post on the social media app.

In fact, she's enjoyed the third highest increase in potential earnings.
Now sitting at 135k followers - having had 10,034 before Love Island - she could be making £575 per sponsored post.
Luca Bish

Davide, 28, appeared on the show as the first bombshell and has quickly amassed a huge following.
At over 431k followers, he has enjoyed an increase of about 421k, and is the only verified user on this list.
After the show, he could cash in a little over £1,807 each time he posts.
But with trouble brewing between him and Ekin-Su, will he remain in the villa to see his popularity increase?

His rekindled romance with popular girl Indiyah may give him another boost in popularity, which would increase his potential earnings.
Andrew Le Page

The 27-year-old estate agent has also seen an increased follower count.
He now sits comfortable at 197k, having gone into the villa with 8,480.
This puts him on course to make up to £836 each time he shares an endorsement post.
