Love Island producers forced to step in after star threw up on set during challenge
LOVE Island bosses were forced to step in after one star was left "physically sick."
Bosses gave a get-out clause to the eventual show winner, after she told how she spent much of the initial food challenge "off to the side gagging."
Amber Gill, who triumphed with then-partner Greg O'Shea in 2019, has opened up on the tweak Love Island bosses made to make her feel more settled.
When it came to food challenges - such as one which saw the Newcastle lass dressed as a bride - the beauty came to an arrangement with producers.
The influencer spoke candidly as she told : "The first challenge that we did was like a food fight dressed as brides and it was whoever had the cleanest dress won.
"I remember I did that challenge and for the most part of the challenge I was just off to the side gagging because I hate anything like that.

"I really hate food and I don’t want food everywhere because it makes us feel physically sick and it was all mushed together and the smell was disgusting."
She added: "So I remember for every single food challenge after that I was the presenter, I used to present them.
"I think the producers thought, ‘Well we’re not having her look like a frigging idiot off to the side just being sick so we’ll have to get her to present them’."
Amber's relationship with show partner Greg didn't last the distance in the outside world.
