Ex-Love Island star fuels speculation there was more to Jacques leaving than what you saw on screen
FORMER Love Islander star Faye Winter speculated there was something fans didn't see on screen around Jacques O'Neill's departure.
In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Faye Winter said: "He'll have spoken to welfare and executive producers and the producers in the villa. Leaving the show isn't as easy as just saying 'I'm leaving'.
"You have to take the time to consider leaving. He's obviously not feeling his best.
"You might not like him or support his decisions and support Paige, but you can't turn it into hate."
Faye added: "Leaving the show is one thing, but leaving with this kind of backlash is another.
"Everyone preaches about 'be kind' but there are always going to be some who want to send nasty messages.
"It won't have been an easy decision to leave - you don't get hyped up to go on the show for months and then just walk.
"You have to protect your mental health and maybe he just needs to be around his own support system."

Faye also offered some insight into how Islanders can get a sense of what the public thinks of them.
"He could possibly have realised how he's being portrayed on the show. You can tell because of the questions you're asked in the Beach Hut.
"You're kind of wired to it by the end."
The 23-year-old rugby ace announced he was leaving the show much to the shock of his fellow Islanders.

Jacques left the hit ITV2 reality show in emotional scenes that saw him breaking down in tears along with many other viewers.
The sobbing lad told his co-stars: "Lately, I just can't be myself. I'm trying my best - but I'm not a fake person.”
Jacques’ exit came very swiftly after the entry of former Love Island star Adam Collard, 26, who returned to the show as a bombshell.
