EastEnders fans in shock as Peter Beale takes revenge on attacker Ben Mitchell

EASTENDERS fans are in shock after Peter Beale took revenge on Ben Mitchell and had him arrested.

The personal trainer - who is played by actor Dayle Hudson in the BBC soap - was attacked by his uncle in a case of mistaken identity.

He has been stopped from getting justice by his mum Kathy - but tonight he was determined to get revenge on Ben.

However earlier Peter and Dana had slept together in the restaurant’s kitchen - but had been interrupted.

They didn’t know who by until Rocky’s birthday party when Peter started taking jabs at him about the attack.

Ben then went off on one after realising the entire party was about him.

Calling everyone out he said: “The family’s a joke. Full of secrets.”

Peter called him out about what secrets he was hiding but instead of confessing to the attack, Ben revealed he saw Peter and Dana together.

“I’m so glad you said that Peter, because you’re the perfect example - you two,” he said to him and Dana. 

“Copping off with your brother’s ex while trying to pretend you’re best mates. I walked in and they were at it like something out of a David Attenborough documentary.”

And when challenged into telling everyone what Ben had done to him, faced against Ben and Phil, Peter backed down and left the room.

However when the police arrived it was clear Peter had done something.

“We’re here to speak to Ben Mitchell,” the officer said.

“I’m arresting you for GBH on the assault on Peter Beale,” they said as they took him away, with Kathy realising Peter had called them.

“You are no grandson of mine,” she said furious at what Peter had done.

And fans were in shock that he dared.

One wrote:  "Obviously, Ben shouldn't get away with what he has done but Peter is only doing it out of revenge. #EastEnders."

A second said: "Who'd like to wipe that smug look off Peter's face! #eastenders."

Another added:  "I cannot stand Peter Beale he's a snake. Yes Ben attacked him but he's always been a snake #Eastenders."
