EastEnders spoilers: Suki Panesar makes touching gesture to Stacey Slater for son Kheerat

WALFORD businesswoman Suki Panesar hasn't been the most supportive mother for her son Kheerat or any of her kids.

Next week in EastEnders, however, the villain makes an effort for Stacey Slater.

With two years in Albert Square under her belt, the Minute Mart owner portrayed by Balvinder Sopal has built quite the reputation for herself.

Her scheming and sometimes heartless tactics have hurt many residents, which include her own children.

Recent months have shown her feuding with food van owner Stacey (Slater (played by Lacey Turner).

Understandably, the squabble complicated things for Suki's son Kheerat (Jaz Deol) who has been getting closer to Stacey despite his family's plans for an arranged marriage.

The pair rekindled their romance in secret but were eventually caught.

And when her daughter Ash (Gurlaine Kaur Garcha) gives her a warning, Suki has a surprising change of heart and invites Stacey to dinner.

Convinced Suki is trying to play tricks on her and all too familiar with her conniving nature, Stacey brings her children with her.

But her wariness turns to guilt when she realises Suki really has made an effort for her.

Kheerat joins them and feels grateful to see his mother put her best foot forward for him and Stacey - but is all really as it seems or does Suki have a plan?

As mentioned above, Suki and Stacey have not been on the best of terms in recent scenes of the BBC One soap, mostly due to the placement of the latter's food van, Stacey's Baps.

Suki had complained to Honey Mitchell (whom she also terrorised) about Stacey's van being in the way of her Minute Mart.

In September, 2020, Stacey had her first run-in with the businesswoman in The Queen Vic.

At the time, it had been revealed that Suki was lying about her cancer diagnosis.

Suki was getting sympathy from her children by claiming she was suffering from ovarian cancer.

Stacey's mother Jean (Gillian Wright) was determined to expose her cruel lies after having fought cancer herself and losing her partner Daniel Cook to the illness.

This led to the Panesars targeting the Slater family and threatening to repossess their home.

Suki even accused the Slaters of being responsible for her son Jags' disappearance.

But can the old nemeses put the past behind them or will Suki turn nasty with another one of her children's partners?
