Love Island fans beg producers to step in as ‘manipulative’ Jacques and Paige have almighty row over ‘cheating’ drama
LOVE Island have pleaded with show bosses to intervene as they accuse Jacques O'Neill of being 'manipulative'.
Their pleas for producers to step in and protect Paige Thorne from Jacques' 'toxic' behaviour comes after they rowed when his romance with Cheyanne was brought to light.
The rugby player, 23, chose to stay coupled up with Paige, 24, after Casa Amoro but she was shocked to learn he’d snogged Cheyanne while she was away in the other villa.
Things between the pair really hit the skids when Paige confronted Jacques about his behaviour.
He sat on the inside stairs as Paige tried to get him to admit his wrongdoing and apologise.
As he tries to dodge accountability, Paige gets fed up and storms off saying she's "done."
But Jacques follows her and things really kick off because he takes offence to her describing his antics as "immature behaviour" and his incessant game playing.
An incredulous Jacques presses her about "what games" as Paige continues that his behaviour "just makes no sense" and all he is "giving back is immature behaviour."

Paige says: "I get Casa is a test, but it’s only a test if you want it to be a test and you only want tests if you feel like something is missing or if you feel like something’s not 100%.
"Why did you do it if you didn’t have any of those things with her [Cheyanne] or if you genuinely felt that way about me? Because it’s not adding up. I’m not sure you quite understand how…"
Jacques responds: "Look I know you’re hurt mate, I know you are. You deserve better…"
Paige asks: "Well, why couldn’t you just have been better then?"
Then as Paige remains upset, Jacques contemplates leaving the villa.
In the teaser, Jacques tells Luca Bish: "No point me being here."
The fishmonger replied: "Mate, she's going to forgive you."
He replied tearfully: "I won't let her forgive me."
Dami rushes to comfort Paige who is crying in the bedroom and defends Jacques, but she just wants Jacques to admit his error.
Fans watching at home were pulling their hair out at Jacques 'manipulative' behaviour.
"Literally all she wants is an apology jacques," tweeted one fan.
Another added: "jacques is so manipulative.. threatening leaving the villa instead of just apologising omg."
A third wrote: "Jacques is trying to twist everything Paige says I hope she doesn't fall for his manipulative behaviour."

And a fourth commented: "Me to the producers demanding the movie night happens ASAP to show Damis true colours to the girls and the extent of Jacques bulls**t and f**kboyish ways."
