EastEnders devastation as character dies in shock twist
OMAR Lye-Fook made his Walford debut in recent weeks as Mitch Baker's estranged brother.
The musician's stint in EastEnders will be short-lived as Avery Baker is set for an emotional death next week.
Mitch Baker (portrayed by Roger Griffiths) was less than please to see his older sibling Avery make an appearance in Albert Square.
However, residents grew to love the newcomer as he made sure to get along with everyone he could ever bump into.
This is notably the case with Mitch's family, while the cabbie failed to fix their bond, too resentful of the past.
But when he found out his brother was terminally ill, Mitch was convinced by Karen Taylor (Lorraine Stanley) to make an effort with Avery before it was too late.

Coming up, Avery is desperate to go to an old restaurant that he used to eat at with Mitch when they were younger.
Knowing his brother is too weak to make the trip and doesn't have much time left, Mitch comes up with another idea.
In later scenes, he leads Avery to the launderette where the latter is surprised with a Caribbean-themed party.
The brothers bond one last time as the party is in full swing with actor Matthew Morrison sashaying into the Square as drag queen Tara Misu at the helm.

Avery and Mitch reminisce and the former thanks his younger brother for all he's done.
Mitch talks to Avery in his dying moments and the eldest of the two passes away.
But as soap bosses teased, Avery came to Albert Square with a big secret, much like many other residents before him.
In The Vic, Karen gives Mitch a letter she found from Avery.
