Mass brawl erupts at Mrs Brown’s Boys Glasgow show as fans ‘thought it was part of act’
A GROUP of audience members were thrown out of a Mrs Brown's Boys show in Glasgow after a brawl broke out during the performance.
Security guards at the OVO Hydro ejected a number of people after reports of fighting between spectators in the crowd.
Comedian Brendan O'Carroll, who plays Mrs Brown in the popular BBC series, briefly stopped the show during the incident on Saturday night.
As one stunned onlooker thought the brawl was part of the act.
According to the , he said: "Great show, except from the 'extras' that had to be heard in the audience."
Bosses at the Scottish Events Campus (SEC), which runs the Hydro, said the people involved were removed from the venue as "standard practice" and police were not called.
After the show, a man who attended the show wrote on the Mrs Brown's Boys Facebook page: "My wife and I were there and had a blast.
"I Didn’t stop laughing from start to finish even with the ten minute punch up that went on behind us but the cast were very professional."
A fellow audience member posted: "I don't know what was funnier the actual performance or the fact the show stopped whilst the fight was happening in the crowd."

The cast of the show were performing in Glasgow as part of the Mrs Brown’s Boys’ D’Tour live show which is currently touring the UK.
An SEC spokesperson said: "The individuals in question were removed as soon as our team became aware of the situation, as is standard practice."
