Kardashian family under fire after ‘canceling’ July 4 with tone deaf posts despite years of lavish holiday celebrations

KARDASHIAN fans have slammed what they call a "disgusting and tone deaf" post shared by several members of the famous family.

In an Instagram show of unity, Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, along with famous momager Kris Jenner, called for "canceling" Fourth of July celebrations.

In response to the recent Supreme Court ruling that strikes down Roe vs. Wade, limiting abortion access for women, the family called for an end to the American holiday.

Online, the reality show family members shared a note that expressed: "4th of July has been canceled due to a shortage of independence. Sincerely, Women."

While the stars were mostly praised for their message, some slammed the family for politicizing the holiday - while still using it as a day for special "deals and discounts" on their own merchandise.

One fan commented: "Anyone else find this disgusting and tone-deaf? Disappointed to be a fan."

"'F**k 4th of July. Anywhoosie...here's my 4th of July sale!'" another person posted ironically.

"Money is the motive, they care about nothing else," one person said, while another added, "They're so hypocritical with everything."

And one follower doubted how little partying the sisters will actually do today: "I just KNOOOW they’re secretly celebrating and just not posting about it, like they did when Tristan threw that 4th of July party back in 2020."

KHLOE'S PARTY

Two years ago, Khloe shared photos of a lavish Fourth of July bash thrown with her then-lover Tristan Thompson.

Khloe took to Instagram to show off the beautiful red, white and blue decorations.

The front door of the home was decorated with a balloon arch that featured red, white and blue balloons and gold stars.

Once in the backyard, the columns surrounding the terrace were decorated with more balloons and red and blue ribbons.

There were also floating balloons over the pool and an American-flag theme ice cream cart where guests could feast.

Inside, a table was cluttered with mini cupcakes for guests to enjoy, a tray covered with chocolates, and gift bags for everyone in attendance.

INDEPENDENT WOMEN

A year later, sister Kourtney ringed in America's birthday by sharing two photos in a tiny bikini.

In the snaps, the reality star walks as if she's on the runaway and smiles.

She simply added an American flag emoji as the caption.

Kim got in on fun in previous holiday's as well, making some serious waves a few years back when she slipped into a sexy Dior bikini and tried wakeboarding for the first time.

But Kim certainly wasn't a natural as it was only ever a matter of seconds before she went plunging into the water.

"This was way harder than it looks!!!" the star joked in another post.

FAMILY FIREWORKS

Some fans think there could be awkward fireworks in store for Kim, believing she and Kanye West are actually planning a secret Fourth of July reunion.

Followers speculated in an online thread that Kim "is back in Los Angeles" to reunite with her ex.

An eagle-eyed fan shared an alleged image of "Kim's jet route" to LA, as another added: "Kim posted her daughters saying 'this morning,' so I think they are with her. It seems like she is back home with her kids."

The Kardashians star recently posted a sweet snapshot of her kids from her LA mansion on .

Her daughters, North, 9, and Chicago, 4, appeared to be cuddling together in their bed and sleeping soundly.

The girls were adorably positioned nose to nose with their arms crossed around one another while dozing off under the covers.

Kim captioned her post: "Woke up this morning to see my girls asleep in my bed like this! Nothing better!"

The TV star and the Donda rapper share their four children: North, Chicago, Saint, six, and Psalm, three.

The Hulu star filed for divorce from her ex-husband Kanye back in February 2021.
