It comes after it came to light that Jamie is actually a talented musician, which would have helped him land the panto gig.
Last month he shared a snap of him standing in front of a mic and told fans: "Very excited to be gigging this jubilee Friday. Can’t wait to see you all there!"
Fans were thrilled with the announcement, with many sharing their excitement about Jamie's performing.
Corrie fans were recently left in shock after Fiz agreed to marry Phill despite his horrifying betrayal.
The knicker stitcher - who is played by actress Jennie McAlpine in the ITV soap - discovered that Phill was writing a book about her serial killer late husband John.
Having moved out of the house she and Phill bought, Fiz returned to the cobbles and stayed with cheating ex Tyrone.
But Phill later popped the question, Fiz said yes - delighting him and the girls.
Despite Phill admitting that he was only doing this to help Fiz get her side of the story across.
Before joining the cobbles, Jamie was best known for playing Big Marc in football hooligan drama Green Street.
