Strictly Come Dancing star Amy Dowden finally gets to marry Ben Jones after Covid delays
STRICTLY Come Dancing star Amy Dowden has finally tied the knot with her fiancé Ben Jones after their big day was delayed by Covid.
The happy couple married at a five-star wedding venue in Gower Peninsula, South Wales, on Saturday.
Amy, 31, and Ben were initially due to wed two years ago on July 25 2020, but the marriage was postponed due to Covid.
Yesterday the were finally able to enjoy their big day.
Speaking about her special day, Amy told Hello! magazine: "It was a stunning venue. I always knew I wanted to get married in Wales.
"The day was a celebration of Ben and me."

Guests included some of Amy's Strictly family including bridesmaid Dianne Buswell.
Amy joined the popular BBC show in 2017.
Back in March the Welsh lass looked stunning as she tried on a beautiful white wedding dress ahead of her big day.
The TV star shared a snap of herself trying on a bridal gown with her Instagram followers as she prepared to walk down the aisle.

Amy wrote in the caption: "Who else is getting married this year? Although I was supposed to get married 2020 and everything was organised and rrready.
"Now it’s creeping up on me and I feel totally unorganised and panicking 🤣. Not turned into bridezilla yet though 🤣😉."
Reflecting on the time when their big day was postponed due to the pandemic, Amy said: "I’m not gonna lie, many tears were shed. At the beginning of lockdown I was quite naive and thought July was far enough away for it to have been possible.
“But, at the end of the day, over 40,000 people have lost their lives. We’re still going to get married."
Back in May the pair enjoyed their ‘sten’ do with cupcakes, veil and rarely-seen family.

Amy and Ben, who is also a professional dancer, started dating in 2011, but kept their relationship a secret for six years.
They got engaged on New Year's Eve in 2017.
