THE Hotel Inspector aired its 'most frustrating episode ever' after host Alex Polizzi gave up after a row with the owners.
Alex, 50, visited Caer Beris Manor in Wales in the latest episode of the Channel 5 show.
The property is run by former real estate agent Omar, his wife and his in laws, and the family were feeling the pressure.
However, it didn't stop Omar from dreaming of getting a Michelin star for the hotel's restaurant, which he was running despite having no previous experience as a chef.
Alex suggested they focus on making the restaurant match in standard and price with the hotel rooms, and pointed out guests paying £140 for a room would not want to spend £100 or more on a meal.
After giving the family her advice, she left them to it for a few months before returning to check on their progress.

She was horrified to learn that they hadn't taken any notice of her and Omar had hired a chef who had worked in Michelin star restaurants to continue pursuing is dream.
In a tense confrontation in the kitchen, Alex said: "I've looked at his CV and what he's done is four f***ing weeks in Michelin starred restaurants.
"That does not a Michelin star make, and actually I'm cross with you, I'm really f***ing cross with you, because what I asked you to do when I left was to be sensible.
"And what you've done is you've gone completely the other way."

In the end, Alex managed to reach a compromise with the family, who decided to aim for a fine dining menu and a boutique feel to their hotel.
As Alex bid them farewell, she wished them well, but admitted they had refused to budge too far from their aspirations to take on board her advice.
The episode left many watching at home pulling their hair out, with one tweeting: "Alex isn’t happy."
Another wrote: "#Hotelinspector Why don't they just listen?"
A third added: "Probably the most frustrating episode of #HotelInspector lol what planet are they on."
Meanwhile a fourth shared: "@HotelInspector_ @CaerBerisManor Wow that's the first time I've ever seen Alex Politzi walk away from a hotel as they didn't want to be open to her help. I'm glad."
