Eamonn Holmes takes swipe at This Morning hosts ‘who shouldn’t be there’
EAMONN Holmes has let rip at This Morning hosts "who shouldn’t be there."
The veteran broadcaster, 62, and his wife, Loose Women anchor Ruth Langsford, were dropped from their Friday morning slot on the programme in November 2020 after 14 years.
He said: "You have no right to be there. TV companies can do whatever they want with you. It’s just, sometimes it surprises you, the ones they hold on to."

Speaking about whether he would he go back, he said: "There’s one or two people that would have to not be there... But of course. I don’t care who I work for as long as I’m working."
Eamonn has made no secret of his feud with former co-star Phillip who presents the show with Holly Willoughby.
The furious broadcaster spoke to the Daily Mail about their on-going feud.
Addressing Ruth's rumoured fall-out with Phil after he cut her off during a Loose Women segment in 2019, Eamonn said: "Phillip is renowned for snubbing people.
"He's very passive-aggressive. It's up to Ruth to say how she felt, but I was feeling hurt for her.
No one would have snubbed me like that."
An ITV spokesperson told the Daily Mail: "This isn't a version of events we recognise and as we have said before we wish Eamonn all the very best.
"We are committed to improving representation both on and off screen and we publicly report on our progress against our commitments and targets."

After the ousting from This Morning, Eamonn headed to rival broadcaster GB News, where he now co-presents the breakfast show.
Yet the switch has not been without continuing scandal, with the northern Irish presenter recently branding the broadcaster "sly" for the axing.
