Love Island fans point out huge problem with Jacques’ angry reaction to Paige and Jay

LOVE Island fans have called out Jacques O'Neill for his angry reaction to partner Paige Thorne's flirting.

Paramedic Paige is currently paired with bombshell Jay Younger after he chose her in the most recent re-coupling, however she has made her feelings for Jacques clear.

Yet this did not stop her vowing to snog Jay another time if the chance arose - leaving fans speculating she is "playing a game" with him.

Love Island viewers are equally irked with Jacques, calling out a potential hypocrisy in his fury around the situation.

This came after the rugby hunk told Paige to get to know Jay last week - hence encouraging their chat.

One fan wrote on Twitter: "I think the difference between Tasha and Paige is Paige decided to get to know Jay because Jacques told her to, she literally cried because he didn’t shut it down. Tasha’s eyes are just wandering on their own. #TALKSWITHASH"

Another mused: "So in summary, Jacques offered up Paige to Jay without asking her, then became increasingly jealous of her talking to the man he sold her to, and has now pulled a strop so that she has told her new owner to do one. Think that's about right #cavemen #LoveIsland."

A third Love Island fan then noted: "Jacques is gaslighting and manipulating Paige. He’s making her feel sorry for him and making her feel bad for getting to know jay when he literally said 'crack on' and is now causing a fuss because he 'opened up to her.'

Yet this weekend, Gemma Owen's ex lay his cards on the table.

He told Paige that she is the one for him in the villa during their late night stairwell conversation.

He even said he had never cared for a girl the way he cares for Paige.

Jay has picked up on this - and called out Paige for "mixed signals."
