The Antiques Roadshow star sat down with Gethin Jones and Michelle Connor to reveal his hints and tips on Morning Live.
Ronnie, 71, joined the popular BBC One show back in 2011, and has been a fan favourite since thanks to his unique taste in antiques.

Ronnie replied: “Well, obviously you want to spot fakes, if you want to spot a fake, buy fake. Buy a fake and keep it at home and study it.
“One in the area that you are collecting, so when you are in the field, and you see something genuine, you know the difference between that and the fake that you have at home.”
He also offered up advice for those looking to get a good price, admitting that being kind often goes a long way.
Ronnie suggested that simply offering sellers a “gracious compliment could mean buyers are able to haggle a good price.
Gethin then went on to ask: “What about cleaning the product, should you or shouldn’t you?”
“Don’t over-clean. If you are not sure, get advice, read books about conservation,” Ronnie continued.
“If you just want to clean something up, so it looks more appealing to you, just buff it with a soft cloth is always my advice and if you need to clean it further, get professional advice.”
Fans were overjoyed to see Ronnie on the show, and took to social media with their shock and his advice at buying FAKES.
“Who knew an antiques expert would be telling people to buy fake items!” one wrote to Twitter.
Another chimed in: “Who knew that buying a fake would be the key to having a keen eye for the antiques world!”
