Coronation Street fans fear for Audrey Roberts’ life as she’s left for dead after shock fall
CORONATION Street fans fear for Audrey Roberts' life as she’s left for dead after shock fall.
The hairdresser - played by Sue Nicholls on the ITV soap - has been called out for her drinking recently but decided to ignore the concerns.
On tonight's episode, Audrey decided to go back to work after some encouragement from Rita Tanner.
But her grandson David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) was less than happy about her return.
She quickly cracked open a bottle of wine and began flirting with Ryan who came in for a cut.
When David told her to go home, Audrey agreed but when she went for her coat, she tripped over Gail's Thai elephant, sending her sprawling across the floor.

David then demanded that she go home and rest - but Audrey blamed him and hairdresser Kelly Neelan for causing her to fall and sacked them.
Later on, Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) turned up for her shift and insisted Audrey go home after seeing the drunken state she was in.
But Audrey refused and fired her on the spot.
After learning that her mother had sacked all her staff, Gail tried to talk some sense into Audrey.
But when she raised the subject of her drinking, Audrey hit the roof and announced she’s moving back home with immediate effect.
Back at the barbers, Audrey decided to call a taxi but she staggered into a motorbike which fell and knocked her over.
Audrey cried out for help, but to no avail.
Corrie fans were left worried that Weatherfield stalwart Audrey will be killed off.
One wrote: "I bet Audrey is goona die pretty soon."
Another worried: "Audrey needs some body armour on her. Give the poor woman a break."
Will Audrey make it?
