House of Games viewers appalled as Melinda Messenger makes ’embarrassing’ blunder in ‘new low’ for show
FANS of BBC's House of Games were left gobsmacked after a celebrity contestant didn't know the answer to a history question.
The gameshow, hosted by Richard Osman, saw four different famous faces compete on Tuesday night.
They were Charlie Brooks, Les Dennis, Darren Harriott and Melinda Messenger.
After whizzing through a number of questions correctly, TV presenter and former glamour model Melinda got a VERY wrong answer.
The 51-year-old was quizzed on her knowledge of royal history, as host Richard asked the contestants for the year in which "Elizabeth I ascends the throne".
Melinda went first, guessing it was 1903, followed by Les Dennis' 1961 guess, Charlie went for 1677 and Darren with 1880.
House of Games continues on weeknights at 6pm on BBC Two
