EMMERDALE fans were left horrified as Leyla Cavanagh plotted to get Jai Sharma hooked on drugs again.

The wedding planner - played by Roxy Shahidi in the ITV soap - has been hiding her habit for months.

Earlier this week, a coked up Leyla offered to pay for everyone’s food, leading to a suspicious Suzy slamming Leyla for her drug use, aware that she was out of character the whole night.

On tonight's episode, businessowner Jai found Leyla's credit card in the bathroom by the sink and returned it to her.

Drug dealer Jason saw an opportunity to get Jai back in his books, and blackmailed Leyla into getting him back on drugs.

He offered her an ultimatum; either persuade Jai back into the fold or he’ll cut her off from any future cocaine.

But Leyla didn't have time to decide before husband Liam arrived.

Back at Take A Vow, Suzy recognised Jason and ordered him to leave.

But the bad boy decided to blackmail the women, forcing Suzy to secretly record the conversation on her phone and threaten to send it to the police if he ever returns again.

An angry Jason then informed Leyla that he'd be cutting her off from his coke supply.

This left Leyla agitated and she accused Suzy for being the reason Holly Barton died.

A horrified Suzy was distraught by Leyla's accusation and pleaded for her to get help.

She then slammed Leyla for trying to get the sweet manufacturer boss Jai back on coke.

An opportunistic Leyla then blackmailed Suzy into giving her the details of her own dealer.

When threatened with the idea of Moira finding out about Holly, Suzy was left reeling.

Emmerdale fans were horrified that Leyla would stoop so low and involve Jai in her drug secret.

One wrote: "Leyla used to be likeable, now i can’t stand seeing her miserable mug on my screen.

"The writers have totally ruined her character and turned her into a hateful, vile, nasty, blackmailing, immoral, selfish low life b**ch."
