Amanda, who recently split from co-star husband Clive, 66, praised the new addition as "the easiest foal ever".

The Channel 5 star said: "She’s a beautiful filly foal born just a few weeks ago.

"Backing her will be a gradual process. She is part of the family - there won’t be a foal anywhere that has been poked and prodded as much as she has.

"As a result, she is the easiest foal ever. Eventually, I want her to bring down the sheep with me, working with me as part of the team."

Amanda's news comes after the sad announcement that she and Clive have parted ways after 22 years of marriage.

Viewers have shared their fears for their favourite TV show.

Fans said they were concerned life on Ravenseat Farm in Swaledale will be very different for Clive, 67, following the news Amanda had moved out.

In a statement published on Instagram, the couple, who share nine kids, said: "Clive and I are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate.

"This hasn't been easy, but we both believe it's the right choice for the future of our family. Although we are no longer a couple, we continue to work on the farm and co-parent together, with our No 1 priority the happiness and wellbeing of our children."

Viewers have since commented on Amanda's Instagram page and suggested Clive may now face old age alone.

One said: "Does anyone care about Clive? 20 years of marriage and 9 children thrown away. He is 67, arthritic and now to face the future alone."

Another wrote to Amanda: "God bless Clive. Goodbye" and a third typed: "I feel more sad about Clive than Amanda. She has all her new-found famous friends whilst Clive only has the children."

Amanda, a former model was 21 years old when she first met Clive, who was 42 at the time.

The couple first appeared together in ITV series The Dales in 2011 before inviting cameras into their home in 2018 and going on to film five series.

She has since become a regular on television, often appearing on ITV's This Morning.

The couple's children are Raven, 21, Reuben, 18, Miles, 15, Edith, 13, Violet, 11, Sidney, ten, Annas, eight, Clemmie, six and Nancy, five.

There had been months of speculation about the couple's marriage.

In October last year the pair told The Sun that they were going through a "rocky patch" after locals revealed that they had been living apart.

This came out just as Amanda was launching a book about her domestic life with her husband.

At the time she blamed "the constant intrusion into our lives" for disrupting their relationship but added: "We're a normal family and we've never said our marriage is perfect."

Channel 5 released a statement last week and said that the programme would be continuing.
