EMMERDALE fans have been left wincing after Leyla snorted cocaine at a family meal and before busting out a cringey dance move.

Tonight's episode of the ITV soap saw Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) was surprised when Jai’s old dealer found her at Take A Vow.

Leyla, who has been dabbling in cocaine for the last few weeks, was tempted when he offered her a deal on some coke and ultimately gave in.

Feeling guilty but excited Leyla hid the two bags of coke from an oblivious Suzy, who suddenly appeared at Take A Vow.

Late at the Hide with husband Liam as well as David and Jacob, a coked up Leyla offered to pay for everyone’s food.

However, a suspicious Suzy watched on, aware that Leyla was acting out of character.

Later on, Suzy slammed Leyla for her drug use as she came out of the toilet, but feeling judged, Leyla defended her actions, saying :"I just wanted a fun night out, I can take this stuff or leave it."

Suzy replied: "Of course you can, doing it on your own, on a school night, in the toilets of some outdoor pursuit centre, do you know how tragic that is?"

But Leyla replied: "Do you know that I've had the year from hell? Do you know what? If I want a little bump to get me through a night out...I think that's my business.

"I'm in control alright? I can stop any time I want."

She then turned away from Suzy and towards her family and cried "Come on guys!"

She then did a twirl and started to strut towards them going: "Wooh! Let's get a bottle of prosecco!"

Emmerdale viewers were left wincing at her behaviour, with one writing on Twitter: "Leyla you stupid idiot!"

Another added: "Leyla is going to end up overdosing, is she continues. smh."

A third tweeted: "Yikes, Leyla is so criiiiiinge!"
