CORONATION Street has cast Game Of Thrones star Michael Condron as an activist linked to fan-favourite Spider’s return.
The actor is best known for playing Bowen Marsh in the hit HBO fantasy series.
A source said: “He’s joining as a new regular and will play Griff, an activist.
"He’s linked to the storyline that sees show legend Spider return to the soap - and fans will first see him onscreen in September.”
Michael appeared in seasons five and six of GoT as a member of the Night's Watch.
He clashed with Jon Snow [Kit Harrington], opposing his election to the role of Lord Commander.
