CATELYNN Lowell has made a shocking confession about her teen years as she encourages fans with her own heartbreaking story.
The Teen Mom OG star recently welcomed her fourth child alongside her husband Tyler Baltierra, 30.
Now Catelynn, also 30, has come forward with a shocking new story about her teen years.
The reality star took to her to share a statement, reading: "At 17, I was a depressed teenager who self-harmed and wondered about just how painful it could possibly be to end my life.
"Right now, I'm laying on the couch, and I can hear my husband reading our four-year-old a bedtime story using silly voices.
She closed: "Life gets better. Make sure you're there to see it."

Catelynn captioned her post with a call to action for her fans that also struggle with mental health, saying: "Never give up. You won’t know what the future holds UNLESS you are HERE to witness it!!!

FAN SUPPORT
Fans rushed to to discuss the heartbreaking post, and to commend the TV star for her strength.
"I'm happy she's in a better place and using her platform for good, always hoping I can get there one day," one wrote.

BIG FAMILY
Cate and her husband Tyler welcomed their fourth daughter, Rya Rose, in August of 2021.
The couple also shares girls Carly, 13, who they placed for adoption as an infant, Novalee, seven, and Vaeda, three.
The pair has posted adorable photos and videos of their newest addition since her birth.
LIKE MOM LIKE DAUGHTER
Earlier this month, fans went wild when Catelynn shared a sweet new snap of her daughter on Instagram as many thought she could be her twin.
The busy mom shared the clip of Rya, as she sat on the floor and played with toys.
"Look at you big girl," the 30-year-old said.
Rya looked up at the camera and had her hands in her mouth.
"Are you so big? Sitting up all by yourself," Catelynn continued.
Rya shook her toys and smiled as Catelynn talked and filmed.
"Oh, big girl. Careful. You got your bunny?"
The mother-of-four clicked at her and the baby looked up, smiling.
As Rya stuck the toy in her mouth, The Teen Mom star said, "You're so sweet."
"Big Girl! #RyaRose," Catelynn captioned the post and added a heart emoji.
While fans gushed over how adorable the 9-month-old is, they also couldn't get over how much she looked like her mom.
Her followers fled to the comments to tell Catelynn that she is her mini-me.
"She is a mini Catelyn," one fan commented.
