'i love it'

Ms. Marvel fans are all saying the same thing after first Disney+ episode

AFTER the first episode of Ms. Marvel premiered on June 8, Disney+ fans took to Twitter to share their reactions and are calling the release “the best MCU show yet.”

“Ok, so Ms. Marvel is maybe one of the BEST Marvel shows/additions to the MCU,” one fan wrote.

Another viewer praised the show, saying: “The #MsMarvel premiere is the best first episode of any MCU show.”

“I genuinely think the first episode of #MsMarvel is not just the best first ep of a Disney+ MCU show but maybe the best part one of any MCU franchise period. It’s so fun, colourful, the characters are so likeable and relatable. I love it. Don’t listen to the review-bomb dorks,” another fan said approvingly.

The superhero show is the latest addition to Marvel’s Phase 4 slate, which also includes WandaVision, Loki and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Fans are all placing Ms. Marvel ahead of its predecessors, however, and they’re citing all aspects of the show — from the cinematography and editing to the storylines and characterisation — as their reasons.

“I’m shocked and thrilled to say that MS. MARVEL had the best pilot episode of any of the D+ shows. In terms of sheer teenage personality on-screen, this puts the Holland Spidey movies to shame,” one fan marvelled.

“I have to say this right now Ms. Marvel on Disney Plus is one of the best edited shows I’ve ever watched! It’s incredible!” another fan exclaimed.

Another said: “The cinematography and camera work is so far the best we’ve seen of any MCU show… Ms. Marvel won me over by this alone.”

Ms. Marvel stars as the titular teen hero Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel. The 19-year-old Pakistani-Canadian actress made her acting debut in the series.

Unlike Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop, who’s essentially been training to be a superhero all her life, Kamala has only been worshipping them on her podcast. When the series begins, she has no idea she’s about to get powers of her own, but by the end of the first episode, she shoots cosmic energy out of her hands.
