Tom Parker’s widow reveals heartbreaking daily chats with daughter, 2, who ‘doesn’t understand he’s not coming back’

TOM Parker's wife Kelsey has opened up about having heartbreaking daily conversations with their two-year-old daughter about his death.

The 33-year-old tragically left behind Aurelia and one-year-old Bodhi after battling a brain tumour.

His wife Kelsey, 32, today told how their kids "don't understand he's not coming back" two months after he passed away.

Speaking on Lorraine today, Kelsey said Aurelia talks about her late every day.

She also gets excited whenever she sees pictures of him - and shared the moment she saw Tom's Sunday Times' best-selling book in the shop.

"Whenever she sees her dad, she's like, 'that's my dad!", said Kelsey.

"So she's just really confused by it, but then we do talk about him every day.

"She does ask me every day about him and obviously we have little things around the house of Tom's, so she'll see like his wallet and be like, 'Oh that's daddy's wallet'."

Kelsey continued about the children: "They wake up happy, they wake up in a good mood so then I can't be sad. And he wouldn't us to be sad and mourning. 

"Don't get me wrong, I get my bad days, of course I do. At night it is lonely, I am lonely, but this is my life, I have to get on with it."

The star was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour in 2020 and given just 18 months to live.

But brave Tom beat the odds after undergoing several gruelling rounds of chemotherapy and 30 radiotherapy sessions.

Tom revealed in October 2020 that he had an inoperable stage 4 glioblastoma - which doctors described as “the worst case scenario”.

The star had been undergoing treatment in Spain that meant he was forced to pull out of the start of the boyband's UK tour.

But he did make an appearance at the later dates where he performed while sitting on a throne.

Before the end of each show, his bandmates Max George, Nathan Sykes, Siva Kaneswaran and Jay McGuinness welcomed him to the stage.
