New Bargain Hunt presenter left ‘crying into her pillow’ as she reveals worst part of BBC job
A NEW Bargain Hunt presenter was left 'crying into her pillow' as she revealed the worst part of the BBC job.
It was announced last week that Roo Irvine would be switching from her previous role as an expert on Bargain Hunt to one of its presenters.
Roo, 42, said presenting the show is "exhilarating, exciting and great fun".
She said: "I’m loving every second of it! Bargain Hunt has such a happy, chilled vibe and that’s down to the contestants and the crew.
"It’s like a big family. They say, 'Do what you love and you’ll never do a day’s work again,' - that is definitely me!"
However, she did admit there was a downside, adding: "I am a night owl and definitely not a morning person.

"So my morning alarm when filming often makes me cry into my pillow!"
As well as Roo, show experts Caroline Hawley and Danny Sebastian will front their own episodes.
They join existing presenters Natasha Raskin Sharp, Christina Trevanion, Eric Knowles and Charlie Ross as they scour antiques fairs across the nation.
They will be looking for pre-loved pieces which will turn a profit for members of the public going head-to-head in the red and blue teams.

"It’s like a dream come true. I always thought I’d love to do this job – I’m so extremely fortunate to be given the opportunity.
