He revealed that he paid just £10,000 for what he called a “shell” of a car.

Aiden said that he and his team took the 1961 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud II apart and “replaced every last nut and bolt”.

The car, which was originally purchased in the UK, was thought to a wedding car before it as sold.

Aidan was hoping the convertible would provide money for future projects at his garage.

Dan took the car for a ride around Marbella and beamed: “This is lovely, isn’t it.

“I feel like I should be wearing carpet slippers.

“This is absolutely amazing, honestly this is the ultimate in luxury, Right now, I’m excited. I love it. I’m hooked.

"But I can’t let the adrenaline and the excitement get in the way of doing a sensible deal that I’m going to be happy with and Aiden might accept.”

Dan made a final offer between €330,000 to €340,000, with both parties agreeing on a fair middle price.

Speaking after the deal, a chuffed Aiden said: “It makes all the hard work worth it.

“We spent four years on this car, a lot of investment, a lot of hours.
