RICHARD Madeley raised eyebrows on Good Morning Britain today when he asked former glamour model Sam Fox if she'd pose topless at 56.
Sam became one of the country’s most famous women almost overnight after her debut on The Sun's Page 3.
Her assets were so famous she even insured her boobs for £1million.
Today Sam advocated for Page 3 on Good Morning Britain after a poll found 43 per cent of those surveyed would be happy for it to return.
The star - who first appeared in The Sun in 1983 - said: "As far as I am concerned I grew up reading the paper, and me and my mum used to discuss the girls' hair, what they were wearing.
"I used to say and I will say, that we all visit the Tate Gallery, and other galleries, and some of the most beautiful pictures in those galleries were taken of women.

"And there wasn't cameras in those days. I'm sure if there was there would be plenty of pictures in those galleries.
"I think women should be proud of their bodies. At the moment there is a lot of pressure for women to look a certain way, what is great today is there is a lot of diversity. We don't have to be skinny, I think natural is the best way to be."

After listening to her argument, Richard rather bluntly said: "If it were to come back would you pose again?"
"At my age, Richard?"
Laughing, she added: "Well, Joan Collins did Playboy (not topless) at 60, so I might do Playboy at 60. I've got no qualms with that."

Reacting to his gaffe, one viewer tweeted: "Richard, you charmer!"
One more annoyed viewer penned: "Did Madeley send that question in? How about when should #GMB sack him for your pole, yesterday or today?"
Page 3 made household names of dozens of aspiring models – among them Jilly Johnson, Linda Lusardi, Jordan (now Katie Price) and Melinda Messenger.
